| Well, I'm a pretty anxious person when it comes to health, and lately I've been worried about having a brain tumor. Currently I have a sinus infection, which I think may be the cause of my symptoms. Well, first of all I should point out that I have slight double vision when looking at TV screens and computer monitors. It's mainly just when I'm looking at letters on the screen, but also occurs sometimes when looking at certain lights, is this a sinus infection symptom? I want to say my vision has always been like this, but I never really paid any attention to it before. Another thing is occational pain that lasts for a second on the top of my head which got me worried... but it's not really bad. My mom says that random pain happens to a lot of people. I'm also dizzy and nauseous sometimes, but I think that's just due to my sinus infection and post nasal drip. I'm slightly nauseous in the mornings, but I've read that can be due to swallowing the post-nasal drip in your sleep. When I get nervous about having a brain tumor I can't concentrate and certain word spellings look wrong to me. Anyways, is this something I should be worried about, or are the actual symptoms of a brain tumor much more serious than this? Call me a hypochondriac, but meh, that's just how I am. XD Thanks. |

| I should also point out that none of this disturbs my sleep. I pretty much sleep throughout the whole night, every night. I'm never woken up with headaches and I don't have any headaches in the morning. |

Hi Worried,
My first guess (and this is all that it is, a guess) is that it does not sound like cancer. However, only a doctor who actually sees you and runs some tests can diagnose you. I would not worry but I would go see a doctor.
Keep us informed and best wishes. _________________ Jim

Thanks brainman, I'm going to see an eye doctor soon about the slight double vision and floating letters I have when looking at screens, so hopefully we can see what's up from there. |

Yep, it doesn't sound like cancer to me either. but the only way to know for sure is to get it checked out. could be anything from a cold or virus right the way up.
Best bet is to get it checked professionally.
there are heaps of places for a good description for brain tumor symptoms but the symptoms vary a lot depending on where the tumor is. So just get it checked. _________________ My Dad is the sufferer, Diagnosed Feb 07.
