I just found out my dad age 60 has Hemiangiosarcoma. He found it in a routine physical. He actually was haveing symptoms earlier but dismissed them. Know the mass is growing rapid and when He does activities it pulsates and grows larger.

I am very nervous about his outcome. I am unable to find any information about this kind of cancer. He had when he was 29 and they removed the tumor, 2 year chemo and radiation and he lost most of his muscle with loss of function of his arm. Now it has returned and I am aleast hopeful that they know more about it.

Does anyone know about this kind of cancer and what treatment options are out there. I am trying to find as much information as possible if not I can just be supportive and always be there for him. He has had an Pet Scan and Cat Scans for diagnosis. However only regular blood work has been done. Is that normal too. They are talking surgery with vascular surger, neorolgy and onclogy, then he will recieve radiation. Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks
