I had cancer surgery March Had recent smear to see how I was doing found out it might be back or it might be the lack of estrogen. But, they sent it out to another hospital why is this this was for cervical cancer

Mazie, I am so sorry to hear that you had cancer. I can understand that you are worried about it being back. Please, keep us informed.

Hi Mazie.

I'm a little confused (easily Embarassed ) Was it Ovarian Cancer? Cervical? When? how was it treated?

To hopefuly answer your question about the smear- Some Hospitals, here in Australia send to a Labotory, They may have just sent it to a more advanced Lab. (or maybe that hospital may not have a lab)

Please give us some more information (if you want) it might help us with advice.
