Hi to all,

This is my first time posting. I am going to be short as short as I can but concise.

My partner was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2006. It was already metastases to the bones (hips) therefore surgery was not an option. He was started on hormone therapy for a very short time and after given the ZOLADEX 10.8mg which he has administered every three months.

Since the beginning of the bad news, I started doing my own research over the net looking for natural ways to complement his treatment. I am not against the orthodox treatment, but I strongly believe on the bodies on ability to heal given the right conditions. I recommended him to buy a juicer (the best one he could) and start drinking daily 10 to 13 glasses of fresh vegetable juice (The juice should be mainly carrots, romaine lettuce Swish Chard, and sometimes he puts some broccoli, for every glass of juice add one apple to make it more pleasant to drink) and one glass of fresh orange juice white part and all. I also recommended taking Vitamin C, Q-10, Switch his white bread for a whole grain bread, stop drinking coffee and coke(his favourite drink in the whole world) as this take the space needed for the juice; For breakfast to have a bowl of rolled oats, cut off on red meets and sugar and sugar. Dr recommended Vitamin D which he is also taking. Last thing I read that is really good is asparagus (lightly cooked and blended to a creamy consistency and take 4 tbsp morning and night) he started on that too. I can not tell for sure how strict he is following all this, but to some extent he is doing it.
I explained all the above to conclude that I we are very pleased with the results he has obtained so far and hope that with all this and God’s help he can get cured. When he was diagnose his PSA was 144.3(Sept 20,2006) an since then it has dropped drastically as follow:

144.3 (Sept 20, 2007)
37.87 (Oct 13, 2006)
0.800 (Dec 06, 2006)
0.370 (Jan 07, 2007)
0.270 (April 10, 2007)

His latest appointment was on July 16 and his Dr is very impressed with the results, He was told before that hi was going to be given only 3 shots of the ZOLADEX 10.8mg but, after seen the results he is getting he decided to give it to him for as long as it works. He also told him to keep doing whatever he is going because it seems to be working for him ( he has knowledge of all the above things, probably sceptical at the beginning like; well, it will not hurt you) He also mention that the tiredness he feels in his ankles and legs could be the bones regenerating and not to worry about it because all his test came back with very promising results.

Well this is my story, all I wanted to know is if there any one else in this forum that is using any king of alternative approach in which he/she is seeing results. Please share your experiences.

Thanks for listening

IPV, very wise use of complementary medicines!! Anything that we can do to increase our overall health and immune system cannot do anything but help... if only by helping us survive the treatment(s)! Thank you for posting this very encouraging message. You and your loved one will be in my thoughts and prayers as his therapy continues. Keep us posted.

I have my mom doing the almost the same thing with a juicer. If you want the best blender get a "Vita-Mix" it is every expensive but it is worlds apart from other blenders.

I have my Mom on a broccilli sprouts which are many times more powerful then broccilli and a beet and a carrot with ginsing to give it sweetness.

She has went almost completely raw foods, no bread, dairy, meat or anything prosessed, Absolutly no sugars, shes using sauna at 117 degrees for a hour a day and were doing oxygin for a hour.

The doctors told my mom there was nothing they could do for her, and go home and die in three months.

That was over six months ago.

My moms last scan showed all tumors slightly smaller then before, and some completely gone.

It is very difficult to go this extreme, but it has been worth it.

Hello JFK,

Can you elaborate more on the oxygin part? How is it done?

I would like to comment on something, it is in regards of your mom not eating bread. To my understanding all grains as long as they are in a whole form are very much needed by our bodies to function, the same with rice and some beans. Have you hear about the macrobiotic diet? It a bit extreme but I take from there what I consider beneficial and feasible to follow (whole grains, rice and beans, seaweed, ect.) and leave the rest.
I also read about the use of a mini trampoline, the person does not need to jump high, just gently bounce leaving the feet on the mat (holding on to your hand if needed) to obtain the benefits. It gives a complete workout without any high impact. It helps the lymphatic system to move along and much more helping with the healing. He is not on the trampoline yet as he is away he is coming back on the august the 3rd and that is the next thing I want him to try. He is now more sedentary than ever with the fear of bone fracture. Exercise is very much needed for everyone for a healthy body, that’s why I believe he needs to incorporate some how.

Im not saying bread is bad, the reason she doesnt eat it is to focus on vegtables first then rice, beans, nuts and a multitude of other things. Were not doing any one certain diet, just what works for us.

I reason we decided to eat the way were are was kinda funny.

We were watching this documentry on african tribes, and they had barely anything just potatoes and a couple other roots and vegtables, no breads dairy a bit of meat and they were always in a hungry state. But you looked at these people and they were in perfect health and I mean perfect. The men looked like they were pracitly body builders and the women looked very healthy. This is how they lived for thousands of years.

So something were doing is wrong, and something they are doing is right.

Am I right? am I wrong?

I dont know, all I know is my mom is still alive and healty, and its seems to be working for us.

The oxygin is a condenser that she uses a nose piece for a hour a day Im not sure if it helps or not, but desprite time call for despite measures.

The Africans will also be physically far more active since they are unlikely to have cars. There is no doubt that a plain diet and good exercise are highly beneficial. I admire your application and wish you all the best with it.
