Dev, sorry to disagree with you. However, there is no way you can say that yours is "the same as" Mel's because 1. You have not actually seen his and 2. You are not a doctor. Sure, it MIGHT be cancerous just like yours was. However, 4 doctors who have actually seen the growth and examined Mel are in agreement that what Mel has is NOT cancer.

Mel, I would go with the doctors' assessments. Although they might be wrong, in general, they are not. Just keep an eye of the lump. If you start to notice significant changes in it, then go pack to the doctor and demand to have it biopsied.

To be honest I dont think your symtpoms dev sound like mine.My lymph nodes have never gone away and come back and you have not mentioned an ongoing sore throat problem.The hospital doctor I saw was not concerned so for now im going to accept its chronic fatigue/post viral syndrome.


I think using this forum,although brainman has given me excellent advice,it is causing me to stress more so I dont think I will return on here again.
