To all with and all those fellow spouse's of cancer. This is our introduction to this forum and can't wait to make and speak to many new friends.

I am the loving husband of a beautiful woman that has recently been diagnosed with Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma grade 3. We recently just finished, and are currently healing from, a resection of, what has been determined to be, 80% of her tumor. We just received the diagnosis yesterday afternoon and we are ready to take the next step.

We live in Battle Ground Washington. We have been treated very well by a great neurosurgeon Dr. Ashak Mohda. We hope that this forum allows us to be informed and to pass along any information that may be of help to us or you.

Our thoughts and hearts are with you all as I am sure yours are with us in this time of need. Wishing you all well.

Welcome Steve and Tina. This is a helpful community that can help you with support and information.

As you can read in my story below, I too have a history of oligodendroglioma grade 3. It was a recurrence of a grade 2 in 1992. I guess that makes me a "long term survivor."

I also serve the CF as one of its Administrators. If you have any problems, just send me a PM.

Keep us informed about what is next. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Dear Steve & Tina, Welcome to this forum. I have been posting & reading about brain cancer since March this year. My 46 yr young brother has GBM IV. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis Tina. This forum will be a great place for you to find info & support. I have found many people to confide in & ask questions. This forum has been of great comfort to me since my brothers' diagnosis this year. I wish you blessings & peace & will include you in my prayers.
I live in Brisbane, Qld, Australia.
Cheers, Aussie Angie.
