Hello all,

I'm Nikki, i'm 18 from Dumfries in Scotland. Was diagnosed with Hodkins Disease on Thursday and thought I'd come here and meet other people who understand what I'll be going through.

I've got an appointment next week sometime to get the results of what stage i'm at and treatment etc.

I found a llarge ump near my collar bone and was admitted up to the hospital where i later had this removed, I've also had a CT scan which showed some more nodes in my chest.

So...just waiting until through the week to see what will happen next.

Thanks

n1kk1, waiting can be so difficult! At least you are starting right by trying to learn everything you can about your type of cancer. Your independent studies will help you to know what questions to ask your medical team. I often recommend that people start a medical journal and write their questions in the journal. Take the journal with you to your doctor's appointment. It is amazing how many questions I have forgotten to ask because I did not have my journal with me.

Keep us informed and best wishes.
