Read some of your blog. Sorry about you having to go through this.
Please check out Maggie's site her husband set up. Lots of info about everything the drugs, drs., pain, all of it. Hopefully yall can become a bit of support for each other.

There are very few of us women around, but most women when they are stressed skip a period. But some of us get an extra one. This may also happen if she has surgery.

Boost and Ensure are great drinks. Ask your doctor if she should drink the protein boost ones. That's what I needed to drink to help regenerate my liver.

Both drinks come in chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. They taste better cold. You can also add ice cream to them if you like.

A quick update on Karen:
She's finished 7 treatments of chemo. She's doing well, was on Oxaliplatin, now on CPT-11. Very tired as a result. One more to go on Monday (August 27th) then a PET/CT scan on the 7th or 8th of Sept.

We expect to be scheduling surgery soon thereafter.
