Some of you will know the research being done into the link between preservatives (mainly parabens) and cancer. For those of you who wish to help prevent cancer, this could be for you.
Nearly all skin care companies have to use preservatives otherwise their product would spoil in a short time period which would make them useless if they are being shipped halfway over the world and almost useless if they can only sit on the shelf for a week or two.
Some of you already conscious about the possible danger of preservatives may have come across products that say preservative free, or 100% natural however, most preservative free products require refridgeration (or still contain preservatives, check the label!!) and there are natural preservatives, yet no preservatives is even better.
A company called Mannatech have solved the problem of preservatives. They use a water based system. The water they use has been passed through a special filter which naturally takes away impurites and adds healing properties (anti-oxidant). This water is effectively pure water which means bacteria can not grow in it therefore they do not need to use preservatives, there products have a shelf life of a year or two, and they do not require refridgeration.
If this wasn't good enough, their skin care line contains no-alcohol, no-colourants and no-frangrance. Also they have been allergy tested, do not use animal testing, are 100% natural and non-comodegenic
