Every morning I wake up with pain in the ribs in my back. It almost feels like my lungs are trying to push through my ribcages on both sides, but sometimes its more painful on the left side. I have an appointment next month, but was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this discomfort and knows what it could be. This pain even wakes me up in the middle of the night sometimes. Usually once I get up and start moving around it may ease up in 1 - 2 hours. Thanks for any advice,,,if you have had this. Especially advice on how to explain it to my doctor, because when I explain it to some people they cannot understand what I could mean.

jesseswife2,
Unusual symptoms that I'm not sure what to make of. Be sure to describe in as much detail to your physicians including what makes it better or worse, the timing, the location and radiation of pain, nature of the pain etc. Good luck.
