my mom as u all now was diagnosted with GBM grade 4 ok heres the histery

she had GBM grade 4 but they beat it but now she has one by her spine that was from the orignal one they found but that ones dead.

so now shes takin steroids and radioaction not chemo so she wakes up with her feet severly swollen ( been swellon for the last week and nvr happened with the first tumer and radioaction and chemo and steriods ) and her knees are in unbearable pain when she dont take steriods but when she does her legs are still in onbearable pain and she loses memerys to where she asks me things twices or more soo this tumer is worse then her original one and she has MAJER mood swings and takes her anger out on me alot even when i dont do anything.

so is or do u think she is close to ( gulp ) u now dieing? Sad i dont want to lose her but im kinda losin hopes casue she gets worse so ima talk to her today

o and are gbm really hard to cure???

Yes, Gliobastoma Multiforme is difficult to treat both surgically and with chemotherapy. Many of the symptoms such as mood swings can be related to steroid use. Without knowing more about her overall condition, it's hard to predict her prognosis. As your medical team if they can provide a range. Best wishes,
