How is this possible?

He experienced no symptoms and was still independent until a bout of weakness and loss of appetite lead to a doctor visit. He showered himself the night before the diagnosis.

Now he's in a hospice and still not complaning of cancer related pain or cough regularly.

Unfortunately, it does happen, although it's the minority of cases. Cancer can do many weird things. I agree with the previous post, I'm glad he's not experiencing any pain. Best wishes,
