i have lost my hair from my chemotherapy how long does it take to grow back in and will the radiotherapy affect it at all

Horrid shock when it first happens! Most people find that head hair starts growing back in the first six weeks after chemo finishes. The hair will grow in differently from your normal hair (it often has an interesting crinkle in it, and the colour may be different) but it will gradually become normal as the chemo leaves the system.

Radiotherapy usually only affects the part that is being irradiated.

Radiation doesn't affect your hair growth, that I know of...unless you are having brain rads. Hair will start growing in toward the end of your treatment and should grow about 1/2" per month. Here is a hint and tips page for chemo:
