Hi there...

My 68-year-old father has cancer. The pathology says it started somewhere in his G.I tract (Colin, Stomach, or Esophogus).

But, it has spread to the brain...He has 5 tumors, with the large 6th being taken out with surgery.

We are in Oregon and are trying to decide whether to take him to MD Anderson in Texas...But, we're worried it'll be a wasted trip if they can't help him.

The doctors here say the cancer is in the bloodstream...So, he's on 3 weeks of radiation for the brain...and then they'll probably start chemo.

Any suggestions on a course of action? They've given him 1 to 6 months.

hi there really sorry about your dad my dad to had tumours in the brain i am in scotland so dont know how far it is in distance all i can say is listen to the doctors where you are and take advice on that, no journey is to far if it will save your life but if it only prolongs pain and agony well there is your answer good luck hard desicion

Yes,Agree, keep a heart happy will be very helpful for cancer patient! the miracle will happen.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll pray for your dad as well. You should be strong for him as well. With regards to your dad going through chemo, I could suggest you to try out Neulasta. If you like, you could just visit the link. take care and God bless!
