Hi, My husband is scheduled for liver resection on 11/16/2006. His initial diagnosis was colon cancer. Almost a year later it metastasized to his liver. He was on chemo for almost 11 months. His overall health is great and if you saw him, you would never know he was having the battle of his life. Thankfully he is eligible for liver resection. The plan is to remove the right half of his liver.

I was just wondering if anyone could share with me how they felt after their liver resection. How long before you felt normal and when you could resume your normal activities.

I pray for all people who are battling cancer and hope each of you may be cured.

Oh Lucinda,
I will have you & your husband in my prayers. A liver resection..I dream of it ..long for it..but alas it is not to be. I will have sir spheres injected in another week.

Hi Cherie,

Just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. I hope you are doing well. My husband is still very slowly recuperating from his resection. They took out 70% of his liver with 6 positive nodes.
