Km..I didn't have any lumps or any symptoms...The cancer I had was in a mass of fiber looking stuff that showed up in the mamogram....so I suggest if you are concerned about something, see your doctor to schedual a mamogram. _________________ MomG DX 11-23-05 @ 65 yrs. old. Although I did finally find a lump, believe it or not, my first symptom (for 2nd breast cancer - both found mysekf) was a very itchy breast! I have heard other women mention this, too... _________________ m~ |

| thank you both for your answers. i have not had a mamogram in 8 years. just always seem busy taking care of every one else. my left breast feels a little heavier than before and i have a nagging pain well not really pain but discomfort under my breast and just below my arm pit.i also worry, if not breast cancer than maybe lung cancer, i had smoked for 25 years and quit 13 years ago. thank you again for your input. kat |

Hi Kat,
My recommendation, as usual, is for you to go to a doctor! It might not be cancer, but why risk it? The earlier it is diagnosed, the easier it will be to treat.
Good luck and Happy Holidays. _________________ Jim

You stated: "i have a nagging pain well not really pain but discomfort under my breast and just below my arm pit."
Is the "nagging pain" like a dull ache? That is what I had. Felt like a dull ache deep inside. Pain/ache is always a symptom where your body is telling you that something is wrong, so it is best to have it checked out. Wishing you the very best outcome. Please come back and let us know how everything went _________________ Where is the cure???
