My husband is in the advanced stages pancreatic cancer that has spread like wild fire to his liver & lympth nodes. The Dr's think maybe the stomach lining but are not sure yet.

My husbands story is listed under the title "my brother is dead". But what i would like to know is suddenly 3 days ago my husband developed these hard knots on the side of his knee & the back of the other leg. They are very hard & they hurt badly. Is this cancer that has spread to his soft tissue? Or does this have to do with his lympth nodes & the waste products not passing through properly because of the cancer?

I'm just trying to get a few answers & someone will know.

I am sorry not to know anything about the bumps you described. I read your husband's story and was struck again by the similarities in so many of the cases. I almost fell off the chair when I read your age, I turned 47 the day before my husband, Sam, died; he was 59.
Do you have a good group of friends and family to help you through this?
I saw big sister gave you some very good advice to that I would like to add "take all the help you can get". I resisted meals and offers of help for a while then I realized
a. anything someone else did gave me more time with my husband
b. helping others feels really good
I leaned to accept help graciously knowing it was good for us and good for all the wonderful family and friends swarming about our home trying to lighten our load.
