From what I understand it does not surprise me. So many times the cancer starts somewhere and spreads so rapidly to somewhere else. I am sorry to think there is someone else who is going to go through all this. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Hi Barbara,
I am so sorry to hear that your mother has GBM. My mother died over 8 years ago with GBM. We only had two months to get ready. It still hurts. I will be thinking and praying for you and your mother and your family.

I am also moving your thread to the Brain Cancer Forum since you might get more support on that forum.

Crying or Very sad

Hi all,
I am a 22 year old Daddy's girl this past Valentines Day my daddy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme. Iam a medical student so I know somewhat of what I have to look foward to but it's always different when it's someone you love. My dad is my world and since diagnosis has had 2 seizures and each time it effects his motor and speech skills mre and more in the past few months i have seen my dad a tough stocky ex marine wither to a brittle 65 year old with no ambition to do what he used to enjoy I guess I'm here to help if I can and also for some support because I have a 2 year old who is possibly gonna miss out on the a hero of mine my dad. She loves him to death. That's her Peppy!
Thanks for listening I will keep everyone in my prayers

Hi

My husband has the same horrible cancer. Try to enjoy little things with your dad and your dad to enjoy time with his granchild . I know it's not easy . I have a 6yr old and I try to take photos when we do anything and we do have some lovely photo's. Hopefully one day someone will find a cure for cancer and other families will not have to deal with this in the future.
