HI ,
I'm getting fitted for a prostesis tomorrow and am not sure what's the best to get. My insurance will cover all of it, but I don't know what to expect.

Any thoughts??

Sandra,
I'm sure by now you have already been fitted for your prostesis, but I have a protesis & it's silicone...it has a cover that can be taken off & washed...I also have what they call the everyday one which can be washed it's self. It some kind of foam stuff & not as heavy as the silicone one. Medicare paid for it all...I also have this tank top that came with two fiber filled stuff that can be washed also...I use those when I take the arobic classes....You can get the prostesis just for swiming, but Medicare won't pay for any swim ware. I'm sure you are going to be ok with the prostesis...I was, & now I don't even notice I've got it on...I've only had mine since March. Very Happy...At least now I feel more comfortable....
