Ok so I am 16 years old. Last night I noticed a small hard lump on the back side of my neck. It does not move around and does not really hurt althought it is a bit tender if you press on it hard. Last night before it showed up I was doing putting my neck through a lot of strain while working out with weights and other things. I felt a bit of pain in my neck after but it wasn't untill right before bed I noticed the lump. I had a lump similar to this about 4 months ago but about an inch above it. That lump disappeared within a week or so. It feels very similar, but this one seems to be a bit bigger. I don't think it is a lymph node because it doesn't hurt. I don't know. I hope it's not cancer and I am really worried. Could it be like a muslce knot or something? Someone please help me.

Not to alarm you but most lumps associated with lymphoma are not painful. Although this is not true of all experiences, my son had a large lump which was later diagnosed as Hodgkins and it never hurt him.

To put your mind at ease go to your doctor. I doubt whether it's anything suspect but it's always best to get a professional opinion rather than worry uneccessarily. Wink

I can make it go away. I am 14, and I am so interested in biology... anyway, go to google, and type in "Budwig" and read about her cure for cancer. I had that same thing on my neck, and I went on the diet, and it was gone in less than a month. Please try it. It could save your life.
