Hi there...

My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, and we just found out today that it has spread--it's gone to the lymph nodes and liver, and the discs in his spine are beginning to deteriorate. His doctor is recommending hospice over chemo or radiation, so I don't think he's got much time. They've stopped all treatment, other than the pain meds, which don't seem to be doing much good. He's got no appetite, he's chronically constipated, and he can barely walk or sit up--he spends basically all of his time in bed.

I'm wondering if hydrotherapy would help alleviate some of the pain? I know it's used a lot for arthritis, etc. Has anyone here tried it or known someone who has? Is is covered by Medicare?

Any information or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
