I need some advice

I recently underwent a lumpectomy for DCIS and am facing a decision about whether to have radiation in addition to tomoxifen. The complicating factor seems to be that I have breast implants that were done for cosmetic reasons 12 years ago. There is the possiblity that the radiation will cause contracture of the implant and either distort my breast (like it isn't already distorted...) or rupture the implant. So, I need to make a decision. Here are the facts: my tumor was low grade and small (4 mm) and estrogen positive. After re-excision, the margins are negative. I have no family history of breast cancer. I know that the safe thing to do is to have the radiation but the statistics I've been quoted for recurrance with and without varies from a 4% difference to 12%. Any insight?
