Nine months after being diagnosed with lung and liver cancer, my mother passed away.

The last 2 days before the end, she was under morphine and she didn't have her senses at all. It feels nice to think that she passed away peacefully, while "sleeping". My brother, my sister and myself were all together in the room with her at the time, holding her hand, rethinking of all the jokes she was telling to us after she found out she was sick, admiring her spirit.

I want to thank everyone in this forum, for your messages, encouraging words and kind thoughts.

May God bless her and us all.

My best wishes and thoughts of strength are with you... you have all been through a long and difficult road. I'm thinking of you and thanking you for sharing your grief throughout this time. I have appreciated your support and hope you are doing well.
