this seems really odd, and i can't find the answer anywhere. i have noticed lately that i've had some new lumps come but the weird thing is, sometimes it feels like i've been stung and it will itch, but there is no red mark and the skin is not broken. when i go to scratch it, i find that there is a lump under the skin. as of last night, i have at least 20, and they all appear to be along my lymph node chain. i've noticed this strange stinging and itching with more than one.if anyone has ever had this happen, i would appreciate if you could help me. there's no use asking the dr. he suggested that the reason i've itched all over for months is that maybe it's scabies.i tried to tell him that scabies doesn't usually cause weight loss, fatigue, night sweats and swollen, painless lymph nodes.if i tell him my lymph nodes are itching and stinging,he will think i'm crazy. it's just odd.after it stings once,it never does that again, but it doesn't go down.just another lump to add to my collection.i have a large spot of what appears to be broken cappilaries on my upper left arm too, that just came up today. i didnt hurt it. it looks like i was grabbed really hard, but no one touched me.i am just tired and can't seem to get to the end of this, whatever it is. kds

Hi kdsjager,

At least for me, itching along my lymphic glands has been a very real thing, but like the desease itself, tends to come and go.

So if it's any consolution, I think that may be pperfectly normal.

orange agent, thank you for replying. i didn't think that was possible for them to sting and itch, and was beginning to feel a little crazy. i'm waiting for the results of my ct scan, but my dr. has gone out of town, and no one else at the office seems to be able to do anything. i have swollen lymph nodes up the backs of both legs now, above my knees, which i KNOW has never happened before. i am starting to hope the scan shows something, so the dr. will agree to biopsy a node. at least a diagnosis won't be like this terrible unscertainty. i can deal with the known .it's the unknown that is hard. kds
