Just wondering.... need some realistic information. My father was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma (liver) 2 months ago. It has been 2 years since his excision. He has taken 3 treatments and has done well with the treatment (no sickness), but he has this reoccuring pain under his right rib cage and a fever that he can hardly get rid of 101+. We go for another CT scan in 2 weeks. We are optomistic, but at the same time realistic. All the stats I have read give a grim outlook. Can anyone give me any insight? God has been merciful in that he has not been sick. But we don't see any results from his treatments. I can see his abdomen expanding. ( I am a mortician and I have seen what issues with the liver can do.) Has anyone experienced this in this way? Just wondering...

I recommend posting at the www.mpip.org board if you haven't already. The board there is much more active it's solely for melanoma.
