This is my friend's 2-year old girl in China who has a malignant palate tumor diagnosed in early September 2007. The doctors there didn't remove it due to her youth age and large size of the tumor (3x4 cm) in the palate. The doctors there cut open her tracheal to install an air tube to maintain her life. She was also installed a stomach tube. After that she was discharged from the hospital and returned to her home in a rural village in China with her heart-broken parents in September 11, 2007. However, after two months, the baby girl is still alive. She even gains some weight and height over the past two months. The size of the swelling (tumor) seems shrinking slightly. All these symptoms inspire new hope to her parents who never ever give up any chance to save their beloved baby girl. They are desperately seeking for any help. If you have any suggestion, please contact Mr. Nai-rong Zhang at:

Thanks so much! |

I am so very sorry about your friend's daughter. I do not know much about her type of cancer. Actually, I do not even know the cell type. That information would be very helpful. One of the MD's on this forum specializes in heat and neck cancer. I will make sure he knows about this case.
I also do not know what is available to her or the state of health care in China. Most of what I do hear is about alternative medicine's... Chinese traditional plants, roots, and such. If nothing else is available for her, that is what I would try if it where my daughter.
Please, pass on my warmest regards to her parents. Cancer is just so unfair. _________________ Jim

As a parent the worst thing in the world is seeing your child sick- let alone with a life sentance like Cancer. We can cope with ourselves or even a partner, but things are so wrong int he worls, when your little one is ill.
Good Luck with everything, and I hope things will get better.
My deepest wishes of amazing health miracle for her. _________________ Thinking of you Inica
