Hi Dev and welcome to the Cancer Forums. I am sorry you had to join because of your cancer. I know very little about NHL. However, I do know a little about how chemotherapy can affect a person. Taking into account that everyone is different, most of the time the effect of chemo gradually becomes worse. It is not unusual for someone like yourself to have a perfectly normal first week. It can become a roller-coaster with some good week and some bad ones. Try to enjoy life as much as you can. You can survive cancer and chemotherapy too. Best wishes of God bless you too.

I'm a 22 female, and have 2A/HL. I have never been noxious after chemo. I've had 4 treatments of ABVD so far, and nothing. I've lost about 3/4 of my head of hair, but its all even, no clumps.
I think everyone reacts differently. I've had a decent amount (not normal by any means) of energy, and I'm half way through. I go in for my second PET/CT scan next week to check the progress. We'll see how that goes.

We're the lucky ones who don't get sick. I'm so glad I don't do home puking after chemo. Sounds awful.
