My name is Joe, I'm 54 yrold w/m with kidney failure, dialysis patient. I have been back-and-forth diagnosed w/ smoldering multiple myeloma. Recently there has been an attack of lesions and hematomas on my eyelids, inner mouth, rectum and subdural hematomas on my face, especially after shaving. The eyelid hemos are severe enough to close the eye completely.
The VA hospital serum oncologist in Augusta GA. has biopsied: rectum, oral, tongue, marrow, fat pad, eye area skin, and cornea. All results were NEGATIVE for Congo red staining!!!!
Now he claims I don't have smoldering mm, but instead, I have mgus, and the skin/mucous membrane problems are from years of steroids for renal xplnt, coupled with coumadin prescribed for smoldering mm and leg dvt's!!!!! My face looks like a Halloween decoration, the inside of my mouth/tongue is like hamburger. I have to eat baby food. My 3 baby grandaughters won't look at me without my shades!!! 
Can anybody point me in a helpful direction???
