Last August i had a colonoscopy whereby a polyp (size 2mm) was removed.

After this, my BM's returned to normal until recently whereby i have become constipated.

I have just started a diet and maybe this is the reason, lack of fibre etc. i've only been on a diet since new year.

Is 6 months to quick for a polyp to grow back. Unlike before, i have no blood n my poo which was reason for colonoscopy the last time.

I am a male, 29 years old.[/b]

First, having polyps doesn't mean you have bowel cancer. The polyps you had removed would have been tested for cancerous cells. Since you've had no additional treatment I'm guessing the polyps were benign.

Second, although you give no details about the diet, it's the most likely culprit for constipation if you don't have other disorders like irritable bowel.

Third, polyps don't cause constipation. Generally a single polyp can take up tp 10 years to become cancerous and many years to become big enough to cause a bowel obstruction.
