had thryoid cancer last year now for over 2 months voice destorted and pain behing my right collar bone and very sore, had and ct of my neck showed my lymph swollen and sent me to have an urgent mri did that last tuesday now waiting for the results and in the mean time now my left side behind the collar bone hurts and is sensitive. they want me to see a speech rehab doctor i am just wondering has my cancer which was operated on last year had radiation in jan o4 got the best of me. i think they should call me back and set up a biopsy of a lymph node my grandfather died of lymphoma back in the sixties. i am so scared the pain even makes it difficult to raise my arms for period of time. please respond to me. i have kaiser this time around and they are so slow at anything took me from nov 10 to now just to do this.

Patricia,

It is impossible to know the cause of your pain. It could well be your thyroid cancer, but it can be a number of things, including effects from the radiation you received. You are definitely being evaluated, so you are doing what you can.

If there is anything else we can do I'll be here.
