Hello there, I have had little bump right under my chin for like 3-4 years now and I recently found out that it could be a swollen lymphgland that was infected with cancer.. But I mean I've had it for so long now without noticing any other symptoms so could it really be lymphoma? Also I'm only 15 so it's not that likely..?

Hi there,
3-4 years seems like a really long time to go without any symptoms. it can start out as a regular swollen lymph node and then get infected with cancer cells. but it just seems too long to have the lump without symptoms. my doctor told me that mine had been there for about a year before i started seeing symptoms. not 3-4 years. do you have any fever, dry cough, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, itching, fatigue, or anything else that might be a symptom? have you had any blood tests or scans? not to scare you, but the age is correct. i was 18 when i got diagnosed. usually it happens in the teens and a big jump to over 50. dont get scared. there's a lot of things that it can be. swollen lymph nodes can be triggered by a common cold. the best thing to do is get checked out by your doctor. email me if you need more info.
