I am 31 years old and for the last several months have experienced horrible night sweats, constant tiredness, chronic illness including pneumonia last month. I have lost 32 lbs in a 4 month time frame and I am anemic. They thought I had Crohns but after testing I do not. Then they thought I may have gallbladder trouble so they did an explorative laparoscopy and removed my gallbladder and were suprised to find that lymph nodes in my abdomen were enlarged. I have been on antibiotics nonstop for weeks so I wonder if it could still be from infection. My Gallbladder looked good. They are doing biopsies of course and i am having a tough time with the wait. What are the chances that this Lymphoma. I have no other lymph node enlargement that I am aware of in fact we were shocked to find that. Am I being rediculous to worry or is possible that this lymphoma??? Please help if you can.

Hi MnM1975,

Sound like you to get some expert advice (from both the doctors and patient's viewpoint). From what your described I would not rule out Lymphoma, and the key to that will probably be in reading the bioposy.
Have you actually seen an Oncologist yet? They are the one's best equipped to inperpret the symptoms you are describing.

Let's hope everything is beneign, buy also take nothing for granted until the real specialist get to evaluate you.

Love and luck.

Burt
