Greetings everyone. My name is Marc and my Dad was diagnosed with SCLC in march of 2005. I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I have already read many helpful things here in the first hour. I have so many questions about so many things I can hardly think straight. How long does he have, what will it be like, should I be with him now (he lives out of state). I know there are no definate answers, and I fear and despise the unknown. His cancer has spread to the liver, abdomen, neck and a few places in his bones. I don't know how long the docs think he has, no one asks. I don't think he wants to know what they think about that. I do. I am already tired from reading other posts and thinking about this every day. I cannot imagine how he feels. I am glad I found this site as I believe it will be very helpful to me as I have read it has been helpful to others. Thank you all for being here and for sharing your experiences. I will also share some of mine. Right now it is time to be with my wonderful wife and have some dinner.
