Katee, continue to trust your doctors. It is not uncommon for cysts to come back in a very short time because, basically, it is just a pocket of some type of fluid or semi solid material. There is no way your doctor would be able to mistake a cyst for cancer. Even if it was cancer, even a very fast growing cancer would not grow back that fast. So:
1. Listen to your doctor and parents
2. Tell them all about your concern
I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts, Katee _________________ Jim

That is a good question but impossible for me to predict. I have a cyst on my nose. Over the years it has come and gone many times. But, again, that is a good question to ask your doctor. In fact, here is my ultimate recommendation: Start a journal. Put these questions in the journal. It is easy for you to forget a question the moment the doctor walks into the room and remember it the moment you get home. I have a journal I use in this way. At first, when I open to journal and start asking my questions, the doctors smile. But then they usually say: "That's a good idea." or "I need to start doing that myself."
This is not to mean that we are not hear to try to help. But we are here and your doctors are there with you.
Good luck, Katee _________________ Jim

katee,
My daughter, who is 18, has cysts on her inner thighs and these come and go all the time. Doctor prescribes Differin (spelling?) cream and usually an antibiotic taken orally to fight the cysts from within. She has not at this time had any removed surgically. I hope all goes well with you and don't be afraid to ask the doctors about any concerns you may have.
God bless and be well,

Hi kateek, sorry I have not responded sooner.
Everything you have said that the Doc's are going to do is very normal... routine. They want to rule out the worse possible scenario. I understand that waiting is filled with anxiety and I feel for you. If there is any comfort, rest in the knowledge that I am praying and thinking about you. _________________ Jim
