hi, would be grateful for any advice as dont seem to be getting replies,
and am now totally confused and very frightened.
try to make this brief. been getting nausea for two years great weight loss hospitalised to be tube fed and rehydrated in dec cos felt so nauseous couldnt eat single thing for two weeks. since then managed to gain 10 pounds. had all gastro tests clear. am most definately not anorexic use to love my food and certainly dont have a problem with my weight, only that i know i look to thin.
had couple of enlarged gland in neck for at least a year saw haemotologist two weeks ago said want to take out gland to biopsy, had chest xray and lots of blood tests, all clear.
went back to see him today and he said that looking at my blood test results blood chemistry fbc esr all absolutely perfect and would take gland out to put my mind at rest as he assures me it cant be lymphoma as bloods so perfect. came out feeling reassured but since got home read lots of reports of people saying they had normal blood tesst but had lymphoma. now reayyl dont know who to believe as am getting very hot and have been for weeks and very sore burning skin. also went for mammogram and ultrasound of breat after finding a lump few weeks ago and was told by consultant that it was just a gland and not to worry.
well now i am worrying as why are all these lumps appearing without any cause. sorry this is so long but do not know who to believe anymore and am still feeling very ill. replies would be very much appreciated.

Hello

It seems like having this node biopsied was a good decision. Lymphoma can be present despite normal blood counts. So follow up with your physician and hopefuly this won't be lymphoma.

regards,
Leo
