My fiancee's mother has been detected of ovarian cancer and has been told that she is in Stage III. The complication here is that she has been told that both her kidneys are not functioning properly and the urea content in the blood is higher than what it should be. Hence the Dr has told her to consult a neurologist. He says chemotherapy cannot be given until the nerologist gives a "Go ahead" .

Can someone provide me with an experience of a similar case or some suggestions that can be of help to her?

Doctor has also said that she might have to undergo dialysis at a later stage.
