My dad has end-stage prostate cancer and has take 27 rounds of taxotere chemo. The cancer is in every vertebrae of his spine, in his ribs, thighs, pelvic area and collar bone. If he goes off the chemo for longer than a week, his PSA shoots up and he starts to have spinal cord compression, which affects his walking and coordination. The nurses say that most people can't handle that many doses of the chemo. What should we expect - might they say that he can't take any more, or can you take it indefinitely? Thanks. Sad [/list]
