Today ive been having this numb feeling under my arm pit. I read somewhere that lung cancer can cause i slight pain or discomfort under your rib cage by the liver.

The feeling is more of a discomfort and isnt really noticeable, mostly under my arm pit and under my right side pec muscle. It doesnt hurt at all. Just feels a bit numb

Now to be honest ive recently cut down on the amount of weed ive been smoking in my life. Ive smoked weed for 7 years in my life and im 23. I dont smoke cigarettes at all but i have been exposed to 2nd hand smoke here and there.

I dont exhibit any of the other lung cancer symptoms but i also read that lung cancer wont cause all these other symptoms. I do have a family history of leukemia on both sides of the family.

How many symptoms does one have to have before he or she would start to think they need to see the doctor? I know if you suspect anything go see the doctor but how many symptoms should one experience before they sound the red alert?

I dont know if i might even have liver cancer i dont drink alot of alcohal and my family history has no liver cancer just luekemia.

Johnnny, it does not sound like you have any of the usual cancer symptoms but you should go see a doctor about this numb feeling. It might be cancer or something else.
