mom, 80 years old, mastectomy last nov. PET scan last Nov showed no cancer. today she has lymph, chest wall, lung lesions, probably liver, etc. chemically sensitive and can't do contrast.
she's very stoic about her pain, said not much and tonight said tylenol wasn't touching it. a tylonel for her is very powerful. she had not ever mentioned her back even hurt. She is in Wy and I in AR. where to start? dad still in denial. she is very weak. Dr was amazed at how fast it spread. Dr, said call hospice. I will on monday. how do i know when to go there? i'd like to do it today. I have EBV and will have to pace myself but am a caregiver by nature. do you know a basic publication/ book i can get for dad to read? He may or may not go to canceer society, has strong opinions, lots are off the wall. and can she now finally have jam on her toast and some of the strictness of alternative care lesseened? does she still need all the supplements etc she was taking? thank you , gargette
