Hi there,
I'm an italian guy, I'm 22 and i like music, computers, gym, Science fiction movies and books.

Im currently figthing with a testicular cancer.
The first days of June 2009 i felt a lump on the top right of my right testicle. Not a case, i was used to self palpate to see if something was different from usual. The day after (yeah, i don't like to wait when something in my body doesn't look fine) I have gone to my doctor who told me to do an echography. I had a calcifications on both testicles and the result of the echo was that next to the old calcification in the right testicle there was a new lump/calcification/cyst or whatever. As soon as doctors realized the situation, i have been sento to an urologist who immediately told me after a short visit, that my right testicle had to be removed (Yeah, organ-sparing with these kind of cancers it's very rare, they usually do it when a cancer hits the remaining testicle but you really want to keep it there, so they try to remove only the ill section of it, but it's very risky). My mom was with me, and you can imagine the scene of both of us gazing into other one eyes after the urologist said my testicle had to be removed.

Moreover I had to graduate at the same time (i graduated in accountancy and foreign trade and i finished the last test the day before i had to get the surgery Very Happy), so i had to destroy 2 montains at once.

The 30 of June I got the surgery ( right total orchifunicolectomy ) and i decided to put a prothesis down there.

After, i had to do a CT (Computed tomography) and we found that i might have a swollen lympho node on the right side, just where i get the surgery.

After, i've gone to an oncologist who said that we need to be sure that is a lympho node and so i had to do a PET (Positron Emission Tomography), which is a more deep CT.

The PET result is that i have something on the right abdomen muscle (don' know it's name in english), in the groin zone, and so i have to go again to go to the oncologist ( on the 1st september, so in a few days) to know what exactly is and there are 2 possibilities (at least it seems to me, but the oncologist will tell me more precisely):

If is a lympho node i will go for chemio cycles....

If is something else i probabily will have to have another surgery to remove it....

At least this is what i understood but the medic will tell me.... Sad

Cya soon all. I'll keep fighting.....
