i'm an 18 yr old female , previously healthy......but over the summer i had fevers on and off for about 3-4 weeks, i lost 13 lbs in one week, and i had nights sweats (sometimes 2 or 3 times a night) i've been fine for about 3 weeks now..no fevers or anything
i had a biopsy and it was negative but they still had me do a surgery..the doctor took out 4 lymph nodes and he says that there were white spots on the lymph nodes..now i'm waiting for the results , the doctor says she's looking for lymphoma, but we don't know yet. anyone have any advice or suggestions?

thanks very much

Hi sram

Sorry to hear of your issues with possible lymohoma. You have done the right thing in seeing the doctor, there is little you can do other than wait. Most lymph nodes are enlarged due to infection and hopefully this will be so in your case. try and relax and do something to take your mind off this, I know that is hard to do, but try anywaqy. Avoid looking at websites dealing with lymphoma as this will only worry you more.

We are always here if you need us and hopefully you won't Exclamation

Good luck with the path results
