Hi there...the answer to your question is usually not but it could happen. I found this information on a pretty good information site called cancerbackup.org. Specifically they said:

Fertility Your ability to become pregnant or father a child may be affected by this treatment. It's important to discuss this with your doctor before starting treatment. However, ABVD is less likely to affect fertility than some other chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin lymphoma.

For everyone, there is a wealth of data on this site, well organized and accessible, you may want to take a look.

Good luck to your son, may he father the children he wants as his life goes forward. Best wishes, Kermica

Hi worriedmom

There is no way of knowing the answer to this question for sure , but he probably will be. Kermica hit the nail on the head with his answer and there is not a lot more I can add, except to say rejoice in the fact that your son is alive and you are able to consider this.

Good luck and I wish your Son a long and fruitful life.
