Enlarged Liver 16.6 cm no foucus seen inside

Hi,

My mother dignoised endomteruim andecroma(sorry 4 spell) stage 3 c, grade 1.

she had hystermtery in 1 may 09 and she did 5 cycle of chemo.her homoglobin is 13.2.

her first ct scan held on june 29.She has no growth,

But 20 aug 09, they found larged liver 16.6 cm.it is becuase of metatistic of endometruim.

Please advise me.

hER CA125 TEST WILL COME TOMMORW.

Please advise me .I am alone in my life.

Her sixth cycle due on 10 sept. 09

Kumar, I am so sorry to hear this news Sad

. I don't have the knowledge to advise you on this. You said in late June there was no sign the cancer had metastasize, but the august scan showed cancer has spread to her liver? Ask the doctors how this changes the course of her current treatment and how will they address the liver. And know you are not alone here, but amongst a group of very caring people. Your mom and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Rohnadda,

I have not said cancer spread to liver.

Her liver is enlarge.I dont know what is normal size of liver.so i coulnd not mention what happened.

Her cancer test ca125 comes normal 8 luckily...Ca125 is blood test for cancer. Normal is 30..But she is doing fine..

finished 5 chemo.

is it any cance to get enlraged liver becuase of chemotherpay.

Please advise me.

What is no focus seen in liver means.

Hi Kumar! Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying, but thankfully the test CA125 test came back ok, my understanding it is one test performed to determine the possibility of ovarian cancer. I will send you a private message with my email, other wise robots will pick up and I will be getting emails from mortgage companies and Viagra, etc. Also, I don't know what an enlarged liver entails, but hopefully others will post. So glad to hear she is doing ok with her treatments. Very Happy

Let me write her Pathology report after surgery

Cervix:Chronic cervicits

Endometrial growth:well deff adeno endometroid type less that 1/5 luyometrial invasion.

Mymetruim:multiple leueneymas

b/l ovaries:metastic endometriod adenco ovarian capast are intact.
Fallopine tubes normal
Lymp node:normal
wash :normal
Omentum normal
Tissue on Colon sigmond...

Kumar, I am not qualified (I have no medical training or expertise) to answer what the report means, but one thing I do suggest. Take the report with you and your mother the next time you visit with her oncologist, and ask what it specifically means. Its good she did not test positive in her lymph nodes. Someone may come along with specific knowledge of those issues, there are a lot of well-informed people who partake on these forums. Kumar, thanks for praying for my sister--she's gone through a lot lately.
