can the symptoms of lymphoma dissappear and appear again after a few weeks?? by syptoms disappearing i mean no fever for over 2 weeks, reduced inflamation of the lymph node and no fatigue. This person has only been suspected of lymphoma not a confirmed case of lymphoma. the FNA showed a negative however an excisional biopsy has not been performed on this person. I would like to know if it is lymphoma can the symptoms disappear and come back after some days??? Thanks in advance.

Hi akshata

Sorry to hear of the disturbing symptoms. Sorry I do not know the answer to your question. You probably need to follow this up with a doctor.

Sorry I could not be of more help. Good luck.

Hi akshata

There are many different kinds of lymphoma. Some of the lower-grade ones (those that progress less rapidly) are known to wax and wane, or get bigger and smaller, over time. Of course, without a biopsy, there is no way to confirm a diagnosis of lymphoma, and there are many potential reasons why lymph nodes might enlarge, so all this information means to you is that you should have a doctor (not Google) investigate your symptoms further to determine a cause.

I concur with jopet. I have heard of the lymph nodes "waxing and waning" especially with the indolent forms. I don't know if that would apply to the "B" symptoms (i.e. night sweats, unexplained fevers, etc.). I would take that up with your doctors.
