My sister left hospital yesterday after news that her lung tumour had shrunk, only to get a phone call today to say that she has to go back in tomorrow for an Infusion, her calcium levels are up.

What does this mean anyone?

Thank you for all your good wishes.

Hi Sam,
Here are two pages you really need to read about high salcium levels and cancer:

The first one explains the causes behind high calcium levels:

http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=12569

The second is how it is treated and managed:

http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=12570

It is worrying me so soon after she came out of hospital.

Glad Kristi came up with some links.

You and your sister remain in my thoughts and prayers.. Take one day at a time and get to the wedding with your sis and have a brill time...

I know the hell of worry, its easier to say than do but we must try and keep positive.. I give my hubby supplements to keep his health up Rolling Eyes I feel sure it helps him, perhaps its worth a thought for your sis.

Take care God Bless, Koik
