I know !!! "HEARTBREAKING" Well I tell you something, my husband woke me up by calling my name at 5am this morning to say "I Love you" I am looking at him as I write to you and he is now mentaly handicapped with the bar up, but this morning he said that and now he is looking at me through the gap between the bar! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN! Are we lucky enough to be given one, perhaps we have to wait till the next life to see our loved ones? Your husband I recall is 37 years old and mine is 49, the pain we are feeling is going to get worst, but no one tells us that, we forget and think its going to be Ok and then something happens and we remember, b***** H*** we are in trouble because this is for real!
I would love to tell you it will be OK and its good to pretend but we are only human and we do need a miracle for either your husband or mine or others to get through this at this late stage of cancer, but remember IT HAS HAPPENED, Have hope and pray to God and I will be praying for you too and I hope the MRI scan goes well. God Bless, Koik |

My heart is breaking for all of you. We need a group hug here. I've traveled this path and know what it feels like to watch someone you love so much slip away from you. I'm so sorry and hope for a miracle, if not then peace in your souls.
(((((BIG GROUP HUG))))))

| Ditto what PBJ said. It is one of the hardest things to do, helplessly watch our loved ones go through this. I feel your pain. Sending all of you a big hug. |

Also any luck with radiation on it?

| He has had it all, whole brain radiation, gamma knife with a complication with that the dead tumor created a pocket of blood then was pressing on his brain stem which affected his walking had surgery to remove dead tumor, just after that having hip/leg problem and again with walking now has tumor on lumbar spine pressing on the spinal cord being treated now with radiation again, but over the weekend he just was bad maybe because the tumor pressing on the cord the fluid is not getting thru but personality and memory is a brain thing so I am just scared that some more tumors came up since tarcevea is not working anymore now looking at standard chemo which has me scared too ,I just cant believe how destructive this is,all I have now is waiting for a miracle I know he will never be the same and will probably always be disabled but I can deal with that. |

| I been ill all day waiting for results of his mri,i have been so scared thats there'd be more cancer everywhere on his brain again, but good news NO new growth but a dead tumor that was treated with gamma knife has caused a pocket of fluid and blood thats causing his confusion and memory loss so its treatable and we can deal with, but I am very pissed off at his oncologist I told him whats been going on and he really did not do much to find out whats going on,I had to call his neurosurgeon who did the gamma knife I went straight to him because he is on the ball(I wish he could be his everything dr he is great) he wanted an mri and see us right away,he fitted us in today on top of seeing 20 people I have alot of confidence in him but I think we need to find a new oncologist |

PJean,
This is wonderful news! (As wonderful as lung cancer news can be. ) At least you know what is happening, why, and there is a fix.
Sometimes coordinating symptoms and doctors is a full-time job. Each doctor seems to be so focused on their specialty and it can be frustrating. I wish you luck with a decision on whether to change oncologists or not.
Have a very nice holiday! You deserve to relax -- a lot.
Hugs of relief,
