what excellent news!

When we all read his plans - I am sure there were many of us thinking you guys were crazy - even while we were rooting for him to do it and hang the details! Now he probably has some sense of control and accomplishment back in his life, which is what many of us humans live for isn't it......

I broke out the Dulcimer and played a tune after reading this Dorothy - it made me so happy -
you guys worked things out and made it happen for him - what a wonderful support group he has.

god bless and let us know how the oncologist goes

Thanks. John showed all us who doubted the dream that if we believe all things are possible and joy can be found in following the dream. The new Oncologist is awesome! He has already put several new things in place, pain patches and lozenges to suck when the pain comes. He says with radiotherapy to the liver mets and bowel that John can probably become pain free and his quality of life will improve greatly. Apparently the radio "spheres' were invented in Perth and his colleague is the world's number one specialist in using them even above the Mayo Clinic he said. I am so relieved and John is so happy. I really believe things are taking a turn for the best. Not a cure but an improvement in John's quality of life. I thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

I am happy to hear your are back home and that the op went well. Your positive outlook is a joy to us all.

D, I am so happy that John made his trip safely! Being in Perth should make life easier on both of you. As always, you and John are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dorothy

Thanks for the great update! It is so good to hear positive news about John. God knows he deserves it!

Good on him for pursuing his dreams. I took a negative approach when I read about the travel plans & promise to keep my negativity to myself next time.

Please let John know how happy I am for him. You sound so much brighter too! I am very happy for you both.

Great to hear you have found a good Onc!

Thinking of you & praying for you.

Cheers, Angie.
