I have a noticeable lump in the right side of my neck, towards the back, about 3 inches under my ear. I noticed it Saturday, well.. actually my co-worker noticed it first, for it wasnt all that painful for me and I dont usually go around massaging my own neck so I wouldnt have felt it on my own. Its gotten slightly bigger. Its not all that painful, just a tad tender to touch, but maybe thats because Ive been poking and prodding at it continuously now for the past couple days. It's about the size of a quarter.

I do have fatigue.. am always tired/ get dizzy easily. But I think thats due to me just being aenemic.

I have not had any cold or virus or infection of any kind over the past few months. I honestly can't remember the last time I was sick, over 6 months ago at least.

Could this be a swollen lymph node due to an infection and just no other symptoms such as coughing/ sore throat/ fever are presenting themself right now..

Would you wait a few weeks and see if it grows or spreads, what would you do?

How rare is Lymphoma?

I'm 22/f, if that holds any relevance.. - Thanks in advance!

Hi lacyma03. Lymphomas are not rare by any means. However, a swollen lymph node can be cause by other things... usually an infection. You might not even know that you have an infection. But better safe than sorry... go to your doctor for him/her to see it.

All the best luck to you.
