Hello everyone, I will make this brief.

My girlfriend has Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is in another city right now, and I feel bad not being able to take care of her and be there with her. Is there anything that I can do to help her out? I know she feels bad, and I talk to her all the time on the phone during the day, but I wish I could make her feel better.

I just thought I would ask for some advice from people who have been there with the support of their friends & family and ask what you think I can do to help her in any way?

Thank you

mondain, I am very sorry about your girlfriend's cancer. You ask a very difficult question. There is probably no way for you to "take care" of her; the most you can to is show her that you care about her. Use your imagination and knowledge about her to find the things, acts, signs that you are with her no matter how far apart you are to the moment. Cards, flowers, pictures, songs/music, phone calls, emails, chocolates, anything that says: "I care and am with you through thick and thin."

Good luck. You and your girlfriend are in my thoughts and prayers.
