TW, glad to see that you still have a sense of humor Very Happy and that how are doing so well. Yes, you do sound blessed.

If you really want to get out of the hospital fast here is what you need to to... make yourself as big of an annoyance as you possibly can to the staff; they will get you out very early in the morning to get back at you Laughing.

Hope to hear from you next time at home Wink

Glad to hear you will be getting out soon. Feels like a Get out of Jail card, doesn't it?

Anyone for a game of Monopoly?! Cool

Hi TW,

Thanks for the update. You're right -- your wife will have to become a jack-of-all-trades to deal with the system. From others I've known, I think you get a much bigger runaround in England because of their NHS. We managed everything usually through the oncologist and the lung specialist. Once in awhile the heart specialist came on board. It's the worst when you are in hospital. Too darn many docs messing about.

Glad you may get sprung soon. That would be nice, but don't push it before they think you should go home. You don't want your lovely wife to have too much to handle on her own at home.

I do have to say that if you keep going ultra-Brit with your writing, I'm going to have to invest in a British dictionary! You're losing me on some of these things. Shocked

Best wishes,
PBJ

TW,
Hang in there! I'm a North Carolina southerner, so I have to guess what you're talkin' about most of the time--you being a Brit and all--but I do get enough to know that you are a brave and determined soul!!!! My mom was my connection to this terrible disease...best of luck, and my love and prayers to you!!!! Very Happy Take care TW, Kim

Hi,

TW passed away thismorning, he was at home and did not suffer. His suffering is over and he won his fight with Cancer because it was a blood clot that took him. God bless you all and thankyou for your support over the last couple of months ... he will now be there for your loved ones.

Julie, Robin Taylers wife.

(((((Julie))))))

I'm stunned, shocked, and saddened to read this. Oh my dear -- how upset you must be! I'm so very sorry, just so very sorry. Robin was a high-spirited character who took our hearts immediately when he started posting.

I'm grateful to God that his passing was peaceful, but know how difficult his leaving so soon is for you.

Please accept my deepest condolences. We will be here for you if you need us.

I pray you have family and friends surrounding you during this difficult time.

Hugs,
PBJ

Julie -

I am new to this site (father recently diagnosed) and got great pleasure from reading your husbands posts. I can only hope that my husband always thinks of me as fondly and with such love as your's did. My heart broke when I read your announcement. I hope that you will take good care of yourself in the days to come.

Oh Julie....I am so very sorry. You and Robin are so very blessed to have had each other.

I so looked forward to Robin's posts. I logged on to see what he had to say next. My heart goes out to you and your family. May God wrap his arms around you and give you strength and peace.

Robin will always be by your side Julie. You will find him in the dawning sun, the gentlest breezes whispering to you, the flutter of a butterfly's wings, and the trill of a songbird. He will always be in your heart and will always be watching over his beloved family.

God bless you. ((((hugs))))

Your words give me great comfort at this time. My darling husbands spirit is with me and our girls. My heart is breaking but I am surrounded by family and friends. TW spared us from seeing him weak. He died the man I married ... strong and handsome, I thank god for that! He was at home that morning, me shouting at the kids to get ready for school, normal family life. We kissed him goodbye, I drove the girls to school and he was gone when I got back. Thank you TW Wink
I now continue our journey and finish the job of giving our girls a good, happy secure upbringing.

Love to you all.

Julie, I just wanted to add a note... while TW may not have been a member for a long time, his humor and courage in the face of his cancer was an inspiration to a lot of us. I know that he made a big impression on me. He will be missed very much.
